Scott has been training jiu jitsu since 2016 and currently holds the rank of brown belt. While he loves the art itself, teaching is what truly drives him.
After discovering the Constraints-Led Approach, his perspective on instruction shifted. Training became less about memorizing techniques and more about exploration, timing, and problem-solving. And he loves seeing a brand new student discover how much fun it can be to learn.
Originally from El Paso, he has known Rudy for nearly 30 years, and their shared history and vision are part of the foundation of Analog Jiu Jitsu.
Outside the gym, he’s a storm chaser and has a long history in the music industry — from working as a promoter to spending eight years on the road managing hip hop artists. Movement, rhythm, and energy have always been part of his world — on the road, in the weather, and now on the mats.
